Sadia Shabir, residence of Chak # 241 R.B started her journey with AWARD as vocational teacher. After 2 months of her hiring the animator created a conflict in area due to her personal interests and left the job, She also took along the adult literacy teacher with her but Sadia and the LDC of the area were determined to carry on the project in the area. She stood alone and handled the vocational as well as the adult literacy classes of the young girls. Later under her guidance, 29 girls successfully completed their 1 year vocational training course. Now it was a time when the project completed its life and the girls were eyeing for order work for their economic betterment. Once again with the support of her family she continued the group of the girls and she provides them the order work. The girls gather at her home daily and do the order work collectively. Now she gets orders from the markets, factories and the famous brands. She is happy and thankful to AWARD for empowering her through training and making her the local girls leader. Her courage and the support of LDC and family made her the role model for many other young girls in the area.
