Sensitization to 880 young people on Technical Education

Youth in Pakistan, comprised of 65% of the total population. To help them contribute in the national economy and to help Government initiative to reduce unemployment, 12 one-day seminars were organized for the youth of District Faisalabad to help them know about the importance of technical education. These 12 Seminars were organized with the school dropout (rural and urban youth) in collaboration with Punjab Government Skill Development Institutes. The facilitators, Mr. Muhammad Asgher District Placement Officer (District Faisalabad and Chiniot) from TEVTA and NAVTEC shared about the offered courses, scholarships and eligibility criteria etc.

Another purpose of these seminars was to enhance the knowledge of the youth regarding number of technical courses offered by the Government Institutes and to encourage them to learn the skills to build up their future. These seminars were the first networking step with the rural and urban youth of District Faisalabad. to propagate the information about these specific technical courses to the maximum.
